Blessings!

Happy Friday friends!

As you read this post, I'm in Amarillo spending some quality time with my momma.  If you know me AT ALL, you KNOW how much I love my momma ... she and I are just best friends!  So I'm really excited to get some alone time with just a girls.

Today's card is a card I mailed to her before we left on our trip.  I just love this new stamp set called "Betsy's Blossoms".  This set is available in our new catalog starting June 1st.

As much as I love the stamp set, I SUPER DUPER love the designer series paper in the background of this card!  It's just so happy and bright!  The sentiment on this card is from the stamp set called "Blessings from Heaven" ... I love that set.  It's got a lot of sweet little messages in it.

And in "breaking news" ... Stampin' Up!'s new catalog has a few new Christian themed sets in it that I'm so excited about!  One of the new sets is called "Trust God" and it has some really beautiful sentiments in it.  I can't wait to order it!

I hope you have enjoyed this week's cards and I hope you have a relaxing and blessed weekend!

Until next time ...

Ministry Card ~ God Bless You

Hello stamping friends!

Today is my VERY favorite card of my ministry cards this month.  It amazes me how sometimes the most simple cards are the most beautiful!

This card uses the "Crosses of Hope" set.  I just love the crosses in that set.  I love how PERFECTLY this cross fits in the little oval embossed "frame".  I just think this card looks elegant.

I hope you like it too!  Again, if you would like more information on our card making ministry and how you can get involved, please leave me a message and I'd love to chat with you about it.

Until next time ...  Happy Stamping!

Ministry Cards ~ Berevement

Today is day two of my posts of ministry cards.  Today's card is for our pastor to send to parishioners who have lost a loved one.

This stamp is from the retired hostess set "Simply Soft" but I just LOVE it!  I love two-step stamping.  I think it gives a really beutiful water-colored look and since I simply STINK at water coloring for real, I LOVE getting a way with a "faux water colored" look.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Tomorrow I have my FAVORITE card for our ministry this month.  Until next time ...

Happy stampin'!

Ministry Cards ~ Praying for You

Today begins my three day "series" of cards for the new card making ministry at my church.  Today's card was actually designed and created by my sister-in-law (Emily) and I really love it!

Would you like more information about our card making ministry?  Leave me a message and I'd be happy to share.  The next two days will be the other cards we'll be making this month for our ministry.

Thanks for stopping buy and until next time ...

Move over A-Rod!

Hello stampin' world!  I really have not blogged in a LONG time and, thanks to some much needed stamping time this weekend, I'm re-energized and motivated.  I've decided, though, that blogging turns out to be slightly low on my long "to do" list and so I'm going to quit feeling guilty when I don't blog and I'm just going to blog when I can and enjoy it.

That being said ... today I have an MDS page to offer.  I love this page!  My little Jacob is just finishing up his first "full season" of t-ball and we just got his photos.  They are so cute!  He plays for the Yankees and he chose number 13 (Alex Rodriguez) for his number.  A-Rod is his very favorite baseball player.

I think Jacob's ready to take A-Rod's place one day!  What do you think?

I hope you enjoyed today's post.  I THINK I'll have something to post tomorrow too.  (Assuming I get photos taken.)

Thanks for stopping by and until next time ...

Footed Jammies

Well ... it's Monday and I did ABSOLUTELY NO stamping this past weekend!  Consequently I don't really have anything new to post to my blog.  Thankfully a very wise Stampin' Up! demonstrator (Ruth Norton) one told me that in a pinch, she posts and MDS page.  So that's my plan today!

I did this page when I first got MDS, but I love it.  Jacob was probably close to 1 in this pic and so Colie was like 13.  She wore the footed jammies only long enough to appease me and take these pictures, but HOW CUTE ARE THEY!

Here's hoping I find some stamping time in my schedule this week!  Thanks for stopping by today and until next time ...

Triple Treat

Okay .. okay ... the title of this one is a bit misleading.  If you're an avid Stampin' Up! fan, the title of this post might lead you to believe that today's post will feature the retiring Triple Treat Flower Stamp.  Not so.  But wait ... don't go away yet!  Yesterday I didn't post anything.  (Primarily because I am having a pretty busy and hectic week.)  Anyway .... to make up for that void, today I'm posting THREE cards!  (A TRIPLE treat!)

Before I post the cards, I have to give a bit of a story about them.  I'm on cloud nine and SO SUPER EXCITED because I met with the priest at our parish yesterday about starting a card making ministry at our church and HE LOVED THE IDEA!!  I took him some cards to show him and he just loved them.  (I can say he actually kinda gushed over them.)  Anyway ... not only did he approve me to start the card making ministry and put information in our church bulletin ... he gave me a room in the parish office to hold our card making sessions with storage for supplies and he even approved some start up money (which I didn't even ask for)!  I'm so super excited!

Well anyway ... he was saying how he wished he had some cards now that he could send to some folks who have had deaths in their families.  I was so pumped I rushed home and whipped out three cards so I could deliver them to him this morning.  And that leads me to today's cards.  (Warning .... there is one card that has a non-Stampin' Up! stamp .... avert your eyes if you must.)

Thanks for stopping by and until next time ...
